By now, you have probably heard of CoolSculpting. This body contouring treatment has been around for over a decade, and for good reason: it’s tried and true, and it’s undoubtedly effective. CoolSculpting has helped millions of people worldwide finally achieve their dream bodies. It’s the ultimate confidence booster!

This year, the makers of CoolSculpting launched CoolSculpting Elite, the newest generation of body sculpting technology. But which is better, the original CoolSculpting or CoolSculpting Elite?

CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting has been around for over 10 years. It’s a great way to jumpstart your weight loss and take care of those stubborn bulges that are impossible to target with diet and exercise alone.

This treatment is a non-invasive, non-surgical, FDA-approved way to permanently remove fat. When our providers secure a CoolSculpting applicator to the treatment area of your choice, the applicator lowers the temperature in the area until the fat cells freeze and die. Fat cells are particularly sensitive to temperature, so the treatment kills the cells without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Your body takes care of the rest, as the lymphatic system processes these cells as waste and flushes them out. Every time your fat cells are treated, your silhouette becomes leaner and more contoured.

Even though CoolSculpting freezes the fat in the treatment area, it’s a painless process. Most patients describe a feeling of chilliness at first, and then numbness for the rest of the treatment — and plus, there is no downtime required.

CoolSculpting is extremely customizable, with a wide range of U-shaped applicators that can be used on nine different areas of the body. This includes the stomach, inner and outer thighs, flanks, upper arms, chin, jaw, below the buttocks, and on the back.

Within 8-12 weeks, you will be able to enjoy noticeable slimming and fat reduction.

CoolSculpting Elite

CoolSculpting Elite has all the benefits of original CoolSculpting and then some.

It uses the same cryolipolysis — otherwise known as fat freezing — technology. The applicators are secured atop the area of your choice and they lower the temperature until the fat cells die. The lymphatic system flushes the dead cells away.

It is also non-invasive, painless, and extremely customizable.

However, Elite uses new and improved applicators that are C-shaped instead of U-shaped, which are more efficient and therefore require less time for treatments. These new applicators come in seven different shapes and sizes, allowing the treatment to be done on a variety of different areas on many different body types.

Furthermore, while the original CoolSculpting is painless, it can also create a mild tugging or pulling sensation as the temperature drops. CoolSculpting Elite, on the other hand, freezes the area quicker which reduces any uncomfortable sensations.

It’s also slightly more effective at treating fat. Original CoolSculpting destroys 18-20% of fat in the treatment area, whereas Elite destroys 20-25%.

Which is better?

Both of these treatments are incredible, but CoolSculpting Elite is undoubtedly the more modern and updated version of cryolipolysis.

It’s more comfortable and effective, and you will be able to enjoy your results quicker since it requires fewer treatments.

Always on the cutting edge, Radiance is one of the first in the area to offer CoolSculpting Elite! Call to book CoolSculpting Elite today!
