WHAT IS A KETOGENIC DIET?

A Ketogenic diet primarily focuses on keeping the body in ketosis. Ketosis happens when your body doesn’t have enough carbohydrates to burn for energy so it instead burns fat. Keto diets are generally very low-carb.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM FOR?

You can continue with the Ideal Protein program until you reach your goal weight, then you’ll enter the maintenance phase. Typical results show a loss of 6-8 pounds in the first week and then an average of 2 pounds per week afterwards.

ARE THERE THINGS I CAN’T EAT WHILE ON THE PROGRAM?

While your body is in ketosis, there are things that you can’t eat because they would throw your body out of ketosis. The wellness coordinator will go over all of the foods that are restricted while on the program. The bright side, however, is that the program also helps curb cravings, so there’s a good chance you won’t even miss the foods that you can’t eat!

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?

You get out of the program what you put into it! The average amount of weight loss is what is typical of someone who is completely committed and dedicated to the program. If you put in the work, you’re going to see results rather quickly!
